I hadn’t been to other countries except Korea, which is my home country. I didn’t want to travel or experience other countries before the age of 24, because I wasn’t really interested in other cultures. Usually, Korean people often travel to Japan and vice versa.
A few years later, my best friend asked me to travel to Japan with him. At that time, I was struggling to balance my university job, but I decided to accept his suggestion. I don’t usually plan tightly when I travel, but he does. Somehow, we managed to travel together and board the airplane.
I visited many places, but the most memorable was Disneyland. It was a dreamy experience. I still remember the final parade before it closed. Even though it was cold and windy, it was worth it to watch the whole show. It brought me back to my childhood memories.
After this trip, I became willing to travel in Europe—and I actually did!
